GLORIOUS sunshine attracted around 400 visitors to a fun-filled family day at Brookvale community centre.
Children bounced their way round an inflatable assault course while the more intrepid tackled a 'Nessie' bull ride.
"We had a good turn out," said site manager John Kemp, who hosted the event with centre manager Russell Gates.
"More than 27,000 people come through our centre every year.
"This was a chance to show local people
what goes on in this building."
Around £400 raised on the day will help fund showcase evenings for various community groups, which use the Arena Housing owned centre.
