SCHOOL pupils have been working nine to five to pick up some tips to take into the work place.
Youngsters from Sir Thomas Boteler High School and Great Sankey High School signed up to the project launched by Birchwood High School.
The 13-and-14-year-olds spent one day a week at the company's Birchwood office for five weeks to learn some enterprising skills.
Michelle Jones, project co-ordinator for AMEC's design and project services business, said: "AMEC is delighted to support this unique collaboration that will help young people develop their skills and improve their self-confidence, team working and communication skills."
