POLICE are warning people to be extra vigilant after a woman was left traumatised when a man exposed himself to her in a Warrington park.
The 18-year-old was walking through Culcheth Linear Park, at 6.30pm on May 31, when a man called out to her.
She turned around and saw that he had dropped his trousers and was committing an indecent act.
A spokesman for Cheshire police said: "The woman was left very distressed as a result of the incident and we would like to remind the public to be extra vigilant when using the park."
The victim has told police officers that she believes the man was white and aged approximately 35 - 40 years old. He is around 5ft 9ins tall and was wearing a dark jacket with a blue and red coloured t-shirt
with blue jeans.
She said he was of a scruffy appearance.
