A HOLIDAY in Devon put Halton stroke patients in the limelight.
The Let's Go Stroke Club were the first 40 guests to enjoy a holiday at the Sefton Hotel, in Babbacombe Downs, after a £300,000 refurbishment to improve disabled facilities.
Bob Bryant, club founder, said: "They made us welcome. We'd also like to say thank you to the Co-op, which donated £1,000 to sponsor two nurses.
"They gave up their own time to offer medical support to our members."
The club provides support, equipment and practical help for around 200 stroke victims and their carers.
