A GROUP of students got the chance to walk the corridors of power in Westminster as part of their studies.
Widnes and Runcorn Sixth Form College A level Law and BTEC youngsters who are studying forensic science spent two days in London learning all about the law-making process to help with their courses.
As part of their trip, the group visited the House of Commons and the House of Lords and got the low down on life on the benches from Weaver Hall MP Mike Hall, who also took part in a debate over current affairs.
They went sightseeing and saw landmarks such as Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square and Hyde Park before enjoying a cruise along the River Thames.
