WARRINGTON police have taken to the spirit of the World Cup by training for a world football tournament to be held in October.
The World Police Indoor Soccer Tournament will see more than 100 teams of police officers from all over the world competing for the title.
Ten police officers from Warrington and Halton will make up the NBC United team and will travel to The Netherlands for the competition between October 9 and October 13.
However, NBC United need your help.
PC Drew Burrows, of Warrington Central NPU Investigation Team, said: "We are looking for businesses in Warrington and Halton to support the team by sponsoring a kit for all 10 players.
"This would be a fantastic opportunity to advertise your business and you would be helping us to compete in this prestigious competition."
NBC United also plans to compete in a seven-a-side competition being held at Barnton on July 22.
Anyone interested in sponsoring NBC United can contact PC Burrows on 01244 613 864.
