IT'S something that has stood the test of time.
And maybe Warrington Museum will soon have a similar object from 2006 to wow the visitors in a month's time.
Because as the teams take to the pitch for this year's World Cup, visitors to the museum can check out tickets from the 1966 final - signed by Geoff Hurst.
The tickets are accompanied by an ice bucket, a Lovell's sweet tin, a final programme, and a framed newspaper bearing the headline: "England champions of the world" all signed by Geoff Hurst.
There's a 1966 souvenir auto
graph book with Bobby Moore, the West Ham team and the 1966 World Cup team.
The display is part of the museum's Warrington People exhibition, which is part of its 150th birthday celebrations.
It is a celebration of Warrington's people both past and present and features stars including Tim Curry, Pete Waterman, Kerry Katona, Pete Postlethwaite, channel swimmer Sunny Lowry, champion jockey Steve Donoghue and musician George Formby.
Warrington museum is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, Saturday 9am to 4pm.
