FIREFIGHTERS have reported a very quiet spell for call outs during England's match on Saturday.
Warrington crews were called out to a car fire on the M6 south between junction 22 and 21 at 1.57, just three minutes before the match got started.
But after that, crews attended no more calls until after the game had finished.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire Service said: "It was very quiet for a Saturday afternoon."
Across the county, crews only attended two other incidents, one a false alarm and the second a fire in some woods in Runcorn.
