A MAN was rescued by air ambulance after breaking his ankle falling off a ledge on Frodsham Hill last week.
The helicopter flew the stricken man, who was in his late 20s to Chester Hospital in only six minutes.
Paramedics from a land ambulance, who also attended the scene, would have taken about 25 minutes to get the patient to hospital by road.
