GLAZEBURY continued their good start to the season with a fine nine-wicket home win against Eastham and Bromborough in Cheshire Building Society Cricket Alliance Division Two.
The visitors batted first and were dismissed for 148 with Tom Milmine the pick of the bowling with 4 for 39.
Glazebury's batters then made light work of the reply with Gary Dunlop, 60 not out, and Gareth Banks, 57 not out, seeing Glazebury home inside 30 overs.
The second XI travelled to Capenhurst and maintained their unbeaten run in the league.
The home side made 120 with skipper Sean Caine the best of the bowlers with 5 for 45, supported by Ray Potts.
In reply, Dave Warhurst was best with the bat, making 36 not out as Glazebury gained 20 points for their efforts after the loss of five wickets.
