GRANGE enjoyed their best weekend of the season so far as they recorded three wins.
The first team, who face a home league clash with Glazebury this weekend, travelled to Audlem in Cheshire Building Society Cricket Alliance Division Two on Saturday before entertaining the same side in the Cheshire Alliance Cup on Sunday.
Saturday's game against the bottom club was a thriller as Grange triumphed by two wickets despite needing 244 to win.
Audlem made 243 for 6 in 48 overs even though Ian McCue, Dave Johnson and Nick Houghton each took two wickets.
McCue got Grange's innings off to a fantastic start and a partnership of 70 between Adam Brogan and Dave Seed kept the Latchford side in the game.
Mike Antwoon, who got married on Friday, continued the onslaught before Houghton and Johnson preserved Grange's unbeaten record, with Houghton smashing the winning boundary with three balls remaining.
Grange completed a double over Audlem with a five-wicket home win in the cup 24 hours later.
The second team, who travel to mid-table side Heaton Mersey Village this weekend, defeated Audlem's seconds by a thumping 192 runs.
Martin Malone was the top scorer with 60 but youngsters Reece Hampton and Shaun Peters were equally impressive with 21 and 34 respectively.
Carl Peters took 3 for 39 but it was the consistent Carl Evans who decimated the Audlem batting order with 7 for 21 as the visitors were skittled out for 60.
