YOUR article 'Final salute to Bruche' (Guardian, June 1) revealed that another part of Warrington history being thrown away.
There will soon be none left. I remember Bruche opening as a police training centre. I was on my first job after leaving school at 14, delivering bread in that area for the Co-op Bakery on Winwick Road.
Much better times than these of today.
