BRAZILIAN beats came to Nantwich when the Manchester School of Samba joined X Academy for a day of colour and music.
Children spent the day learning to play a variety of drums and percussion instruments from Brazil.
Nantwich-based X Academy is an arts and culture centre providing dance, drama, singing, music and languages to the community.
The academy's Jacqui Richards said: "The day was very successful and the team is due to return to us in August for another fun-packed day.
"Members of the academy can be seen in action on Nantwich '06 Family Fun Day."
Jodie Cheetham is pictured, front, with her 'Ganza', watched by Denni Richards, James Garrington and Derice Richards on their 'Surdo' drums.
