GREAT Sankey's Ben Stringer finished second in his class in the discus event at the Disability Sports Open in Manchester on Saturday.
The 25-year-old former Warrington Disabled Sports Personality of the Year, who won the Electrabel Paralympic Championships in Belgium recently, threw 29.95m in the discus and also had a throw of 7.32m to finish fourth in his class in Sunday's shot put event.
