WARRINGTON Athletics Club won the third round of the Young Athletes League at Ellesmere Port on Sunday.
And there was extra joy for Jessica Deakin, who was crowned the female track athlete of the match after winning the 75m, 150m and long jump events at under 13s level.
Jessica was backed up in her age group with double wins from Vicky Hamilton in the 200m B race and the 1,200m, and Sophie Kerr in the B 800m and the high jump B event.
Louise Sullivan registered a treble, winning the under 15s girls' 1,500m, discus and javelin B event.
Chris Hilton shone in B events at under 17s boys' level with wins in the 400m hurdles and high jump, while Martyn Corcoran was the top under 15s boy with victories in the 100m and 200m. William Jones also won two events at that age group - the long jump B event and the high jump.
