A CREWE man is fighting for his life following a road accident in the town on Sunday evening.
The 34-year-old man is in a critical condition following a collision with a green Vauxhall Cavalier as he was walking along Flowers Lane at around 10.45pm.
The man, who was wearing a rust coloured top and denim jeans, was taken by paramedics to Crewe's Leighton Hospital.
The driver of the vehicle, who is local to the area, stopped at the scene.
The accident is being investigated by the town's Specialist Investigation Unit who are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the man walking in the Flowers Lane area at the time.
