A COMMUNITY credit union has been created in Latchford.
The union, which has more than 400 families as members across Latchford, Fairfield and Howley, is a non-profit making group run by its members for its members.
Members can save regularly to gain a good return on their savings and also gain access to low-cost borrowing based on the amount of savings held.
The credit union welcomes the employed, unemployed and both young and old.
Its collections and information session is held at the Victoria Park Residents' Association Community Flat, at 122 Knutsford Road, every Thursday from 6pm until 6.30pm.
For more information, contact the Community Flat on 629113 and leave a message.
