A CLASSIC tale of lust, madness and desire in New Orleans in 1947 is the setting of a drama being staged in Halton this week.
A Streetcar Named Desire by Tennessee Williams, is being performed at 7pm on Friday, June 16, at Widnes Sixth Form College, in Cronton Lane, Widnes.
Minimum Wage Theatre Company won great acclaim with the first production of this play at The Brindley last month.
Sheila James plays the lead role of Blanche du Bois.
Tickets priced £6/£5 are available on the door.
New members are always welcome to join this theatre company, which has staged more than 60 productions since it was formed 15 years ago.
