SISTERS from Great Sankey have won awards from the Army.
The Seddons, from Worsborough Avenue, were honoured at a special ceremony at Fox Barracks in Chester.
Cadet Sgt Major Natalie Seddon, aged 17, was given the Lord Lieutenants Certificate of Merit.
The citation said: "She is a matchless representative of the Army Cadet Force, encompassing all of the organisations aims and ideals."
Natalie is studying for A/S-levels at Priestley College.
Elder sister Jessica, aged 19, is studying to become an Army instructor and was awarded her BTEC certificate.
They were joined on the day by relatives including mum Yvonne and dad David, whose also servces in the Army Cadet Force as an adult leader at the rank of Lieutenant.
