CHILDREN at Willow Wood Nursery and Infant School in Winsford will be getting healthy meals at home and at school thanks to a parenting initiative.
The school has run a six-week course for parents of pupils showing them how to provide a healthy diet for their children. Headteacher Rosemary Bell said: "It has been great for them and I'm sure they have learned a lot from it."
Sara Randle and Pam Davenport, left and right, from Crewe Victoria Technology School, explain healthy eating with Willow Wood teacher Angie Lucock, parent Tina Bell and teaching assistant Marcia Yates. c062504.
