CHILDREN at Charles Darwin Primary School have put their walking shoes on in an effort to learn more about healthy lifestyles.
Pupils decided to walk to school every day for one week instead of getting lifts from their parents.
During lessons the children learned about the benefits of walking to school and examined the effect cars have on the environment.
They also looked at how they can lead a healthy and active lifestyle by eating a balanced diet and getting regular exercise.
