A WINSFORD couple are hoping their second child will not act like a little devil after he was born on the sixth day of the sixth month of the sixth year in this century.
Rachel and Peter Barcoe, of William Street, are over the moon with the arrival of baby Brydon at 8.37pm last Wednesday and aren't worried by any superstitious links with the devil.
Rachel said: "When I found out what date he was due to be born I just couldn't stop laughing.
"We have all taken it in a light hearted way and we're both just absolutely delighted.
"He is such a nice little boy and I couldn't be happier."
Brydon has continued a bizarre trend of birthdays in the Barcoe family after Rachel and Peter's first child, Zachery, six, was born on Christmas Day.
Rachel, 26, said: "It seems we had baby Jesus and then the devil child which we all find hysterical.
"We don't believe in anything like that so we have all seen the funny side of things."
Peter, 27, said: "My sister was born on the seventh day of the seventh month in 1977 so it seems there is something quite spooky with dates in my family.
"Nothing spooky happened yesterday though and both Brydon and Rachel are doing well so I'm really pleased."
Rachel and Peter are now looking forward to a happy future with their two children and don't have any plans for any more babies.
"Definitely not and if we did God knows what day of the year it would be born on," said Rachel.
"We have two gorgeous children and it doesn't really matter to me what day of the year they are born on because they are very special anyway."
