LEISURE facilities in Winsford will come under the spotlight again tonight, Wednesday, when residents are given an update on improvement proposals.
Controversial plans are in the pipeline to close the civic hall in favour of a multi-million-pound facility at Winsford Sports Centre and residents will be given the opportunity to have their say.
The Winsford area meeting will begin at 7pm in the civic hall and people are being encouraged to attend and put forward their views.
Meeting chairman Clr Brian Hall said: "Many people in the borough are keen to have their say on any changes or improvements to the town's leisure facilities.
"I would urge them to join us at this area meeting so they can be sure they have made their thoughts known on this very important issue.
"Residents will also be given the opportunity to address questions to councillors and council officers during the meeting.
"Questions can be about any issue that has an impact on them, their family or the community and no issue is too small or too big to discuss."
A police representative will be available at 6.30pm to discuss any individual concerns.
