WORLD Cup fever is sweeping the country and hospice staff hope the soccer fascination will help boost financial support for the centre.
Cup winners Cuddington and Sandiway U12s are hoping to help St Luke's by promoting the England wristband. All profits from the sale of the £1 items will aid patient care at the Queensway centre.
Fundraising manager Wendy Gibson said: "We are hoping to sell more than 6,000 bands to raise £4,350, which is the equivalent of a whole day's care at the hospice.
"You can help if you are a club, shop or any business where you can sell the band on our behalf. If you are interested, call us on 01606 551246."
