THE Winsford Support Group has hailed its summer fete a resounding success after raising more than £2,000 on the day.
The civic hall show on June 3 was the largest hospice event of its kind to date and support group members Karen Jackson and Gloria Mundie are pleased their fundraising efforts proved fruitful.
Karen said: "Stalls included cakes, plants, teddies and jewellery and entertainment included toe to toe dance troupes.
"A total of £2,396.09 was raised which we are absolutely delighted with. It was a fantastic family day and we want to offer thanks to everyone who helped make it so great."
