SWISS scouts scoured Knutsford town centre on Saturday in search of clues for an unusual treasure hunt.
The three leaders and five scouts from Switzerland had been invited to a weekend camp in the town following the successful European Jamboree last year.
On Saturday the team joined scouts from Knutsford on a hunt through the town centre, which was based on the game of Monopoly.
They had to search for clues and take photographs to prove they had found them - with as many people in them as possible.
Traders including Jardines, Guy's barbers and Hal Whittaker's toy shop helped by handing out Community Chest cards.
"By the end of the morning a fair proportion of Knutsfordians knew that the scouts were in the town," said leader Martin Jones.
The Swiss scouts are part of the Voll Schoggi Scout Group, from Winterthur, near Zurich.
