A LYMM man suspected of carrying a handgun in Winsford was due in court as the Warrington Midweek went to press.
Bradley Herring, 21, of Lymm, appeared at Chester Magistrates' Court on June 3 charged with possession of a Beretta gas powered air pistol with intent to cause fear of violence on June 2.
He was arrested by Cheshire firearms officers on June 2 following reports of an incident in Cambrian Way.
Herring was appearing at Chester Crown Court yesterday, Monday, in respect of the firearm offence.
He is also on police bail until July on suspicion of possessing class A drugs with intent to supply.
