D-DAY will arrive on June 27 for the licensing application to host Creamfields in Daresbury this summer.
The hearing will begin at 6pm at Runcorn Town Hall.
If approved, the legendary dance festival will take place on Lord Daresbury's estate on August 26 and 27, with a line-up that includes the Prodidgy, the Zutons and Goldfrapp playing to 45,000 revellers.
More than 500 residents and five parish councils - Walton, Appleton, Stretton, Stockton Heath and Daresbury - have objected to the application.
Warrington Borough Council has also lodged its objections.
If approved, Warrington's neighbouring authority will net £24,000 from the licence alone.
The site covers 120,000 sq metres in Halton and 90,000 sq metres in Warrington - although two car parks catering for the 12,000 vehicles expected at the festival will be set up in Warrington.
