THIEVES went on a stealing spree targeting expensive houses when the owners were away.
Computers, cash, mobile phones and credit cards were snatched from three homes in Birchdale Road, Appleton, Whitefield Road and Cawdorfield Close in Stockton Heath over the bank holiday weekend.
A spokesman for Warrington police said: "In all of these incidents the offenders climbed over rear gates and forced open a ground floor window with a screwdriver-type implement.
Police believe the burglaries happened overnight on Sunday, June 4 and Monday, June 5.
In two of the offences security alarms had been tampered with.
