Appleton Cricket Club secured a six-wicket win against Glazebury in Cheshire Building Society Cricket Alliance Division Two at the weekend.
Visitors Glazebury put on 84 for the first wicket, with Dunlop scoring 66 and Gibbons knocking 44.
Consistent bowling by Jones kept the wickets falling and three late wickets taken by Worrall left Glazebury on 214 for 9.
A powerhouse 63 from Arnold saw Appleton make quick inroads into the Glazebury total.
The Glazebury attack rarely troubled the Appleton top order and a magnificent 95 not out from 17-year-old Tom Lomas led to Appleton clinching victory with five overs remaining.
Appleton's second team gave a rare dismal performance at Heaton Mersey, who reached 66 before Appleton collapsed to 50 all out.
The third team also failed to impress in a loss to Wirral.
