LEADERS Rylands maintained their winning form against Mossley in Cheshire Building Society Cricket Alliance Division Three.
Two catches from wicketkeeper John Stoney from the bowling of Rob Wright ended Mossley's third-wicket partnership, which had threatened to derail Rylands' push for a fifth successive victory.
Jamie Leicester then rushed Rylands to a 61-run win thanks to a spell of five wickets in 21 balls.
Ian Mason, with his fourth half century on the trot, and Richard Buck, 40, added 83 for the second wicket as Rylands set Mossley a target of 209 for 3 from 42 overs.
The Gorsey Lane boys will play host to Kerridge on Saturday at 2pm.
Rylands under 13s produced a fine performance to beat Glazebury by nine wickets.
Rylands under 15s put in a creditable performance against Tattenhall before losing by 69 runs.
