TAXI drivers and Warrington Borough Council are going to release a joint statement about how talks are progressing.
They have been in negotiations since Hackney Cab drivers staged a go-slow protest round the town centre in February.
The cabbies had a range of grievances, primarily a perceived lack of ranks available.
The council's taxi licensing department and representatives of the drivers held their third meeting last Wednesday.
