A 26-INCH sword is one of more than 100 weapons to be handed to police in the knife amnesty so far.
In the first ten days 103 knives have been collected in campaign bins at Warrington's four neighbourhood policing units.
Chief Inspector Chris Clarke said: "Thanks to the public 103 knives and weapons have been taken off the streets of our neighbourhoods, preventing them from falling into the wrong hands.
Stockton Heath station had 63 handed in, including the ornamental sword, several meat cleavers and a scalpel.
Great Sankey's officers have collected 12, Risley Police Station seven and Arpley Street Station 13.
"If you have a knife or weapon of any kind there's still plenty of time to go along to your local police station and drop it into the knife amnesty bin.
"Make sure it's packed in cardboard or something similar and securely fastened for your own and other's safety.
"We just want to take as many blades as possible off the streets to reduce the chances of someone using them to hurt others and commit crime," added Ch Insp Clarke.
The knife amnesty will continue for three weeks.
