LUCKY Rita Mary Kerfoot spent a week in America representing Asda Golborne at this year's Wal-Mart shareholders meeting.
Rita joined 160 UK colleagues as she jumped on a jet and headed off to Bentonville, in the sun-kissed Texan state of Arkansas, for a two-day international conference.
More than 17,000 international colleagues joined Rita, who works in administration, as they converged from as far a field as Mexico, Canada, Germany and Japan.
Speaking before the trip, Rita said: "It's a real honour. The trip will be a fantastic opportunity to meet colleagues and learn more about how the Wal-Mart world works in other countries."
George Fletcher, Asda Golborne's store manager, said he was sure Rita would do Golborne proud on the international stage.
