EX WRENS congregated to honour a Stretton Royal Navy air station where they served during the Second World War.
The reunion took place on Sunday at St Cross Church, Appleton Thorn, to remember HMS Blackcap and those who were stationed there from 1942 to1958.
During the past 14 years, the service has developed into a memorial for all who served at the air station but it was not until 2000 that large numbers started to attend.
