DRUGS with a street value of up to £5,000 have been seized from a flat in Appleton Village, Widnes.
Police officers investigating a separate incident noticed a strong smell of cannabis coming from another flat and raided it.
Inside they found cannabis plants, processed cannabis bush and a suspected stolen computer.
A 25-year-old man from Manchester was arrested and charged with possession with intent to supply cannabis and cultivation. He was due before Runcorn Magistrates yesterday, Tuesday.
An 18-year-old man from Manchester was arrested and is helping police with enquiries.
