WEAVERHAM are still searching for their first win, despite posting a season best total at Tattenhall.
Jamie Allen scored 135 - his highest innings for the club - as the visitors reached 221-2.
Opening partner Steve Robertson struck 41 as the pair put on 80 for the first wicket.
But it was not enough.
Missing last week's bowling hero Alan Bell, Weaverham could not find the form to trouble their hosts.
And Tattenhall eventually claimed maximum points with six wickets still standing.
l The 2nds fared far better as they pinched their first win of the campaign against Offerton. But they suffered a scare to get there.
Deep in trouble at 24-4, Brian Rogerson (89) picked the right moment to build his best total for the team.
Rob Dickenson (27) supported him as Weaverham went on to reach 187.
Rogerson (3-35) was at it again with the ball in his hand, with Gordon Allen (3-15) and Kenny Roberts (2-30) playing their part as Offerton closed on just 89.
