HALTON Arms helped to lead the celebrations at Warrington Touchline Sports Sunday Soccer League's annual presentation dinner at the Park Royal Hotel in Stretton, Warrington, at the weekend. They collected two lots of silverware after winning the Premier Division title and finishing runners up to Cheshire Hawthorne in the Premier Cup Final. Honours were handed out to all the league and cup winners, as well as club secretary of the year Dave Roberts, of Callands FC, and referee of the year, Graham Marsh. The Colin Hankin sports team of the year trophy was awarded to Inter Mivan, while the Gordon Millington Refereeing Trophy was received by Paul Jackson and the L Flaherty goalkeeping trophy went to Peter Bibby, of Middleton.
