BARNTON Squash Club have just completed the most successful season in their 20-year history.
The men's 1sts have gained promotion to the second division of the North West Counties League, their highest league position to date.
They also made it through to the Challenge Cup Plate final, held at Warrington Sports Club, only to lose the match 3-2.
There was further success for the 2nds and 3rd teams who both finished third in their respective divisions and narrowly missed out on promotion.
And it was not just the men who set records.
Barnton Ladies finished their inaugural season in fine style, adding the Challenge Cup Plate to the Division Three championship trophy they won earlier in the year.
The club now hope to build on this success and welcome any prospective new members, both male and female, whatever level of playing ability.
Thriving
Professional coaching is also available along with weekly training sessions, a thriving junior section as well as social squash.
The club also offer cricket and bowls as well as a wide range of other social activities.
