FORMER 911 star Simon Dawbarn, better known to fans as Spike, has football on the brain this festive season.
However, not even Santa can deliver his wishes. He told the Warrington Guardian: "I'd say Manchester United going all the way in Europe, but that's not going to happen this year.
"So signing Ronaldinho would top my day."
The festive spirit came early for the pop star who recently watched former band mate Lee Brennan as Peter Pan in pantomime at the Charter Theatre in Preston.
Spike is hoping the festive spirit will continue into 2006 as he has recently launched his own star academy for budding popstars in Warrington.
