POLICE have released an e-fit of a woman who posed as a council worker before stealing money from a Lymm resident.
The incident happened on Thursday, August 18, when the women went to the home of an elderly man in Lymm.
He allowed her into the kitchen at the back of a house and she left briefly before returning to the kitchen.
She then closed an interior door behind her and stole money from his wallet.
She is described as a white, aged between 19 and 21, 5ft tall, of slim build, with short, blonde, wavy hair and a high pitched north west accent.
She was wearing dark clothing.
