BIOLOGY students from a Hartford school are celebrating after winning a number of prestigious national awards.
The Grange School was named as the best in the country in the Daily Telegraph's national science writer awards and three students came in the top ten of their categories.
Sreekar Charlu, 18, Emma Johnson, 17 and Alexandra Bell, 17, each won £100 for their articles on subjects as varied as the genetic causes of obesity and the range of hearing in animals.
Teacher Andy Milne said: "I was incredibly impressed.
"They well deserve their success and it was a pleasure to read such a range of interesting and informative articles."
