WARRINGTON put in a promising performance but were beaten at home by Wilmslow in Euromanx South Lancashire/Cheshire One at the weekend.
The visitors opened the scoring with an early try but Warrington replied with a penalty from Rockey.
Another Wilmslow try put Warrington's opponents in control, and although Rockey's penalty reduced the deficit it was not enough.
Warrington are back in action on Saturday when they make the trip to Aspull.

A POOR first half display cost Warrington's second string against their Tyldesley counterparts.
Warrington found themselves 30 points behind at the interval, but fought back with Yeadon and Hughes running in tries.
The second team host Wilmslow at the weekend.
* All six of Warrington's junior teams avoided defeat in their clashes with Chester on Sunday.
The under 14s won 18-12 and the under 12s also came out on top, while Sam Nichols grabbed two tries with Jack Johnson and Tim Jeffers also crossing as the under 11s' match finished four tries apiece.
Nathan Beesley crowned his debut for the under 10s with six tries, while the mini under sevens and under eights both won.
