A SOLID team display helped Eagle become the first side to beat Leigh in Merit League Three.
Leigh opened the scoring but Friery responded with a try after good work from Wilson.
Eagle's opponents then surged ahead again with another try, but Redford immediately ran from halfway to score and man of the match Dean Talbot powered past four tacklers to grab another.
Talbot then capitalised on good play from Friery to score an easier try, before Taylor rounded off the victory with a late effort.

EAGLE ran in six tries as they recorded their second league win of the season with a dominant display against Aspull.
Chris Taylor grabbed a brace, while Mike Taylor, Matt Wilson, John Whelan and Luke Stacey also crossed, with Barry Whalley adding two conversions.

EAGLE'S under 17s extended their unbeaten start to the season with victory against table-toppers Dukinfield.
King, Hankey and man of the match Banzyck all touched down, with Tom Ratcliffe kicking one conversion.
