LYMM ran in 27 unanswered points in the second half to defeat Aspatria for the first time in 14 years in their Powergen North Two West clash.
Chris Kinsey finished off a good move to put Lymm ahead against their Cumbrian opponents, and Adam Fletcher added a second try before the visitors replied to level the scores at 10-10 at half time.
But Lymm seized control after the break when Nick Shaw went over, and they ran away with it thanks to further tries from Mark Berry and Andy Williamson as well as another from Fletcher.
Lymm, who have now moved to fourth in the league, travel to play newly promoted Rossendale at the weekend.

LYMM'S second string were always in control as they secured victory against New Brighton's seconds in the North West Intermediate League Bateman BMW Premier Division.
A strong wind on their backs allowed Lymm to race 24-0 ahead by half time and although New Brighton rallied the result was never in doubt.
Ben Murphy, Simon Wright, Steve Cioganne, Dave Roberts, John Jenkins and Andy Roberts all crossed for Lymm.

BEN Hinton scored the only try and Tom Ryan took the man of the match award as Lymm's newly promoted third team were beaten by Aldwinians' second string in the Fairclough Homes Second Division.

THE under 19s were comfortable winners against Chester in the under 19s Lancashire and Cheshire Senior Colts A League thanks to efforts from Kyle Holcroft, Glen Howson, Marcus Pemberton and Tom Robinson as well as an early penalty try.

MISSED tackles led to three Caldy tries as Lymm fell to a home defeat.
William Jones and Ross Harrison scored for Lymm, while Frankie Halton kicked two goals.
* Lymm's under nines team took the Stockport Tournament title after recording five straight wins in the competition.
Each member of the team touched down as Lymm scored a total of 26 tries to three in matches against Sandbach, Stockport, Winnington Park, Broughton Park and Altrincham Kersal.
The under 11s finished second out of six teams in their age group after winning their last four games without conceding a try.
Liam Stewart was impressive on his debut while Josh Meeks, James Mitchell, James Kimber and Paul Robinson all scored tries for Lymm, who lost their opening game.
