THE Bishop of Warrington, the Right Reverend David Jennings, has paid a special visit to Callands Primary School.
During the visit, he talked to the children about Christianity and saw the work they had done with Reverend Alan Kennedy, vicar of St Philip's Church.
Kate Hamilton, head teacher, said: "It's very unusual for a Bishop to visit a school, especially one that is not a church school.
"Reverend Alan comes in every month and uses multi-media to bring Christianity alive for the children.
"The Bishop was very interested in seeing all the work we've been doing here."
