THE transport infrastructure to support a new shopping precinct in Warrington town centre has been taking shape.
Work on the roads around the Golden Square development will see a number of changes for drivers in the area.
Golborne Street is due to be permanently closed from Monday, October 10, to accommodate the new extension to the Golden Square shopping centre.
With road widening works now complete on Legh Street, buses, which previously travelled along Golborne Street, will now use Legh Street.
Customers using the temporary bus station will be able to access Golden Square via the escalators and lift located between BHS and Littlewoods.
