TAKE a magical journey through a mere snippet of the colourful history of Disney, throw in a few dozen pairs of ice skates, some entertaining dance routines and you basically have a winning formula for another successful Disney tour.

Mickey and Minnie's Magical Journey arrived at the MEN last week to entertain north west audiences on its whistle stop tour of the UK.

This latest offering from the money-making machine that is the Disney empire, features numbers from four of the Disney classics as we take a flight with Peter Pan, Wendy and the Lost Boys to fend off the moustached menace that is Captain Hook, before sending off the evil Cruela DeVil in 101 Dalamatians, diving into the enchanted sea to rescue Ariel from the clutches of the evil claws of a giant 30ft Ursula the sea witch in time to marry Prince Eric, and last but by no means least, coming over all shook up to the sounds of Elvis with the loveable Lilo and Stitch.

It's exciting stuff, as mums and dads give in to the urge to join in with an audience consisting mainly of little girls waving until their hands dropped off.

Highlights had to be the aforementioned Ursula, a giant crocodile that took care of the dastardly Hook, Mr Smee's venture into the audience to enjoy the show and the show-stopping number that saw 101, yes 101, dalmatians giving Cruela's henchmen the run around!

Spectacular skating coupled with colourful costumes and an enthusiastic cast make for a great night. Roll on the next show.
