MORE than 900 parents and pupils attended a bustling open night at St Aelred's Catholic Technology College on Tuesday.
Pupils from feeder primary schools and prospective sixth formers were treated to excerpts from the theatre studies department's forthcoming production of 'The Resistible Rise of Arturo UI'.
Existing pupils demonstrated their skills in areas such as physical education, technology, science, poetry recitation and music.
The school gymnast team showcased their athletic ability, while boffins in the making set up science experiments to show parents the range of opportunities on offer at the Birley Street college.
