A 20-YEAR-OLD was attacked with a screwdriver in Great Sankey leaving him with cuts that needed 13 stitches.
The victim was walking home along Hood Lane at 4am on Sunday, September
25, when he was attacked by three men a short distance from the junction with Dorchester Road.
One had what police believe was a screwdriver and all three are aged around 20.
Police believe one used the screwdriver
as a weapon as the victim received a stab wound to his arm that needed 13 stitches. He has now been released from hospital.
The robbery was reported last Thursday, September 29, and detectives are appealing for witnesses. The attackers took an unknown amount of cash.

Meanwhile officers were investigating another robbery in Oakwood as the Warrington Midweek went to press.
Police were called at 6.45am yesterday, Monday, after reports of a man attempting to raid the till at the newsagents on Admirals Road.
